Frequently Asked Questions

  • When can I sign my child up for classes?
    • You can sign them up at ANY time!  We will prorate your tuition so you don't have to wait!
  • Is there a registration fee?
    • Yes, the registration fee is $25 per child per school year.
  • What payment types do you take?
    • We take cash, check ($30 returned check fee), credit cards from Discover to AMEX, and Paypal.
  • Do you have automatic payments?
    • No.
  • Do you offer payment plans on tuition, meet fee's, competition apparel, etc?
    • No.
  • Do you offer private lessons?
    • Yes.  Please look at our schedule for pricing.
  • Does my child need to compete to be on the gymnastics team or the twirling team?
    • No.  For the gymnastics team, once they become Level 3 or higher or XCEL Silver or higher, they must do 2 practices per week to keep up their advanced skills and to progress safely.  Twirlers do not have to compete if they do not want to.
  • Do you teach men's gymnastics?
    • No.  We do not have the certifications to teach men's gymnastics.  We can teach boys and men, but more for tumbling, pro wrestling tumbling, basic ring and bar skills, agility training for sports like wrestling, jiu jitsu, basketball, football, baseball, etc.
  • Do you teach children or adults with intellectual disabilities?
    • No.  We do not have the certifications, the education, and the equipment for people with intellectual disabilities.  Integrity Athletics, the YMCA of Greater Toledo, and Pinnacle Gymnastics all have adaptive and specialized classes for diverse abilities and sensory disorders.  All three of these facilities have immaculate programs that we couldn't just name one facility.
  • Do you do parades or any performances?
    • The Show Team and Twirlers do perform in parades, and the gymnasts come and walk in the parade and help hold up our banner.
  • Where are you located?
    • We are located at the Bellevue Activity Center behind the Bellevue Police Department, Bellevue Street Department, and the Bellevue City Offices.  Due to the Bellevue Post Office changing the address, it might be hard to find the building using the 165 Bellevue Way, Bellevue, Ohio address since it has not been updated on the any GPS program (YahooMaps, GoogleMaps, AppleMaps as of 2/24/2026).  The original address that is still on the GPS programs is 3000 Seneca Industrial Parkway, Bellevue, Ohio.  If you still have trouble finding us, the wonderful police officers of Bellevue will have no problem showing you the way to our facility.
  • What happens if my child has to miss a class?
    • That's ok!  Your child can do a makeup class with the appropriate class.  If your child has to miss a bunch of classes due to a vacation, trip, injury, or anything a little long term, then we can prorate your tuition for the following month.
  • Do you give refunds?
    • No.  You can move funds to other programs of Performance All Stars or into private lessons.
  • What should my child wear to class?
    • A tight fitting t-shirt/tanktop is ok with spandex shorts with no ties, zippers, or buttons (can cause injury when they are on the bar or beam).
    • We prefer a nice leotard with spandex shorts.  During the colder months we tell the girls to bring sweatshirts and sweat pants to warmup in, but we will have to take them off when we are on the apparatuses.
    • NO HOOP EARRINGS, RINGS, NECKLACES, BELLY BUTTON RINGS, ETC!!!  Medical bracelets must be covered with athletic tape and labeled.  As a USAG gym, we must follow the rules set in place for safety for the athlete and the coach.
    • Hair up or braided.  No clips, beads, or any hair piece of any kind that is either a hard plastic or a metal (besides bobby pins) that can either stab, cut, puncture, etc. into the head.  Can't tell if your hair piece is ok?  Put the hair bead/clip/piece on your head and press down as hard as you can.  If it hurts it's a no.
    • Absolutely NO SHOES for gymnastics!  Only cheer shoes that haven't touched the outside are allowed at Show Team and twirling shoes are allowed for the Twirlers.
  • What is the average coast of a gymnastics meet.
    • It's around $160 per meet, sometimes lower and sometimes higher, but never over $225.  This only covers your child's meet fee, coaches fees, and team fees.  Admission, parking, hotel, etc. are all an added expense.
  • My child has never twirled a baton before.  Should I get them a baton for class?
    • You can get them a basic baton but we do have extra batons the kids can use for class only.
  • Do you teach adults?
    • Yes, but as of right now we only teach adults in private lessons.
  • When do you close for bad weather?
    • The only time we close is when Huron County is in a LEVEL 2 Snow Emergency.  If your area is too bad or unsafe to drive, then just call and do a makeup class.  A makeup class is better than possibly getting into an accident.
  • How will we know that PAS is closed due to bad weather or gymnastics meets?
    • We have a facebook page that has all the important closings, meet schedule, tuition due, etc.
  • My child plays multiple sports and might have to miss a month or 2.  Can she come back to the same level?
    • If she still has her skills for the level she is in, then yes.  If she had lost some skills, then she should be signing up for the next class lower than her original level to get her back into things.
  • My other child would like to join as well.  How do I go about signing my 2nd child up for classes?
    • You would need to add their name to the registration form, pay a second registration fee, and add the tuition on top of your regular tuition.
  • What else do you offer?
    • We offer a variety of sports and performance agility training for professional wrestling, amateur wrestling, jiu-jitsu, basketball, football, etc.  We would not be teaching "the sport," but more teaching grounding foot work, flexibility, stance, endurance, or even just strengthening weak areas of the body.
    • We also offer flute lessons!  If you need a flute, we do have an extra flute to use for private lessons.  If you would like to buy an affordable flute to get your child through the basics, there are a few options on amazon that has surprised us that have worked and are under $100!
  • What is agility training?
    • Agility training involves exercises designed to improve an individual's ability to rapidly change direction, accelerate, and decelerate while maintaining body control and balance. It combines speed, coordination, and reaction time to enhance athletic performance and reduce injury risk.  You can apply gymnastics exercises and training to every sport!
  • What is pro wrestling tumbling?
    • If you are an aspiring professional wrestler but are too afraid to fall on your back, can't do a handstand or a forward or backward roll, then pro wrestling tumbling will help you push to get to your pro wrestling dreams!
  • Do you travel out of state for gymnastics meets and baton competitions?
    • Yes, not often, but yes.
  • Does my child have to do EVERY competition?
    • No, the choice is always between you and your child whether they would like to compete or not.
